Featuring warm medicated oil, Abyangam is a process to relax your body with gentle massage by using hands and fingers. This treatment is accomplished in four or five positions, allowing your blood to circulate well throughout the body and tone your muscles. This massage intends to give you a good sleep by reducing the pain in your body and relaxing your mind.

SHIRODHARA

If you are suffering from stress, depression, or insomnia, then Shirodhara treatment can naturally relax your mind. Eliminating the need of sleeping pills, Shirodhara boosts your memory, energy and reduces exhaustion. Herbal medicated oils are constantly poured on your forehead gently for 45-60 minutes. Focused on the head, it is proves to be useful for migraines, nose and ear conditions. It also has the ability to cure chronic disease such as spondylitis and neuropathy.

THAKRADHARA

Thakradhara is a form of Shirodhara that helps to relieve stress and improve some skin diseases as well that including psoriasis. In Thakradhara, medicated buttermilk is utilized and poured between the forehead gently to alleviate tensions and insomnia, boosting the concentration power.

SIROVASTI

In the Sirovasti process, medicated oil is applied to the body and head. Thereafter, a cylindrical cap is fitted onto your head and the oil is poured inside it and slowly drained out. The shoulders, head, and neck are then gently massaged. This process helps in the treatment of eyes, nose, and ear as well as for chronic diseases like insomnia and spondylitis. It improves your memory, vision, mental and dermatological conditions.

SIROLEPA

Sirolepa improves your vision, cure headaches and insomnia, and is also used in the healing of stress, anxiety, and depression. In this process, medicated oil is gently applied to the head and body, which is followed by curative herbs and herbal pastes. Thereafter, the paste is applied to the head and covered with a plantain leaf. Then the paste is removed and the oil is cleaned!.

NASYAM

Nasyam is all about a massage on the shoulders, chest, and face with herbal oils and then the oil is inhaled. Thereafter, the area around the feet, palms, nose, and chest are then massaged energetically. This treatment helps in curing allergies, migraines, headaches, and other nasal infections.

PODIKIZHI

Podikizhi is responsible for stimulating the nervous system and also helps in curing backaches, joint pains, headaches, etc. It is also advised in a few neurological cases caused by obesity or arthritis. The process of Podikhizi involves converting medicated powder into poultices, providing fomentation as well.

DHANYA KIZHI

Dhanya Kizhi is a useful treatment for curing therapeutic sweating, in which, crushed pulses and cereals are packed into a bolus, warmed, and applied all over the body. The body is then fomented with linen packs containing cereals such as black gram, horse gram, cottonseed, etc. This treatment is effective in reducing inflammation and pain in joints, shoulders, and neck.

PIZHICHIL

Lukewarm medicated herbal oils are poured all over the body by dipping a cloth in the oil and then it is gently massaged. Thereafter, the oil is cleaned with a dry towel or by taking a bath. Pizhichil is a treatment specially meant for musculoskeletal issues that include arthritis, osteoarthritis, sciatica, lumbago, and neuropathy as well.

NAVARAKIZHI

Navarakizhi ayurvedic treatment helps in curing high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and musculoskeletal disease. Warm medicated puddings made by rice are applied at the affected part of the body or all overall the body to induce sweating.

UDVARTANA

Herbal fine particles are combined with ghee or oil are applied overall to the body to reduce excess fat, cleanse the skin, and boost firmness in the limbs.

ELA KHIZI

Powdered herbal leaves, coconut gratings, and lemon are warmed in medicinal oil and packed into boluses into a cotton cloth. These packs are steamed and then fomentation is patted at regular intervals all over the body for sudation. It alleviates stress and relieves you from body pains, joint stiffness, backaches, and a lot more. It is advisable in arthritis, neck pains,
spondylitis, etc.

NJAVARA KIZHI

This treatment is a tribute from Kerala to Ayurveda. It involves fomentation of the body with boluses of rice that are expert for their nourishment and medicinal value. Rice is cooked in milk along with herbal extraction and it proves to be effective for nourishment and rejuvenation. It reduces pain, strengthens tissues and inflammation, and is highly recommended for low back pain, arthritis, neck pain, and neuromuscular disorder.

SARVANGADHARA

Warm medicated oil is poured onto the body of the person continuously while being soothingly massaged. This Dhara is done usually in four to five postures for toning, strengthening, and rejuvenating the body ensuring adequate blood circulation. This is highly beneficial for rheumatic conditions and also advised for paralysis, neck pain, low back pain, and arthritis, joint stiffness, reducing inflammation and pain, etc.

KSHEERA DHARA

This process involves the fusion of diverse herbs into medicated milk for strengthening the tissues, nourishing the skin, and rejuvenating the body. It is advised for those who are suffering from insomnia, mental disorder, slight or chronic fever, paralysis, etc.

CHOORNA PINDA SVEDA

Medicinal poultices warmed in herbal oil are utilized to cause sweating in either the whole body or in specific parts of the body. This treatment is very beneficial for reducing heaviness of the body and
limbs and obesity typically.

KADEE VASTHI

This treatment is specifically meant for lumbar aches and pains by retaining oil at the lower back in a circular motion. Lukewarm medicated oil is poured into it and is kept warm by heating the oil into a water bath throughout the procedure. It is specially recommended for osteoporosis, but also for pain, stiffness and sciatica.

GREEVA VASTY

This is a rejuvenation therapy for curing shoulder pain, neck pain, and stiffness by gently pouring warm medicated oil or herbal decoction on the back of the neck. Geeva Vastya has the capability to eliminate most of the problems related to the neck. NJAVARA THEPU

JANU VASTHI

It is a treatment designed for stiffness in knee joints. Warm medicated oil is retained over the knee joint, easing the knee movement. NETRA TARPANAM
